Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NutriFlux, including the mobile application, website, Kiro AI companion, meal-planning features, Community features and related services.

NutriFlux is operated by [NUTRIFLUX LEGAL OPERATOR NAME], registered address [REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS] ("NutriFlux", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or using NutriFlux, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

NutriFlux is for users aged 18 years or older. You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. What NutriFlux provides

Meal planning, nutrition tracking, calorie and macronutrient estimates, water tracking, recipes, shopping lists, camera-assisted food features, Damage Control, Kiro AI, Community meal sharing, challenges, and notifications. Features may be added, changed, suspended or removed over time.

3. NutriFlux is not medical care

NutriFlux is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. NutriFlux does not replace a doctor, registered dietitian, pharmacist, mental-health professional or other qualified healthcare professional. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of an eating disorder, take medication, have severe allergies, or are planning substantial weight or nutrition changes. Do not use NutriFlux for emergencies.

4. Nutrition estimates

Nutrition information, portion estimates, food recognition and calculated targets may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for checking information that is important to your health or safety, including allergen information.

5. Kiro and AI-generated content

Kiro can make mistakes. AI-generated responses are general informational and wellness support, not professional medical advice, and should not be the sole basis for a medical decision. You must not use Kiro to request instructions for self-harm or harm to others, obtain illegal or dangerous instructions, impersonate a medical professional, or circumvent NutriFlux safety systems. Every Kiro response has an in-app Report response control; use it to flag unsafe, offensive or incorrect output. NutriFlux may use automated safety systems and human review of reported content to enforce these Terms and protect users.

6. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login credentials secure, all activity on your account, and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not create an account using another person's identity without permission.

7. Community and user-generated content

If Community is enabled, you may publish photos, captions and other content ("User Content"). Before your first post you must accept these Terms and the Community Guidelines; we record the version you accepted and when.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant NutriFlux a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, resize, transmit and otherwise process it only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate and improve the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for limited backups, legal obligations and moderation/security records. You must have the rights needed to publish what you upload. NutriFlux may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines, applicable law or platform policies.

8. Prohibited conduct

• harass, threaten, bully or exploit another person;
• post hateful, discriminatory or sexually exploitative content;
• publish another person's private information without permission;
• impersonate another person or organisation;
• post unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive content;
• promote dangerous medical misinformation, or encourage eating-disorder behaviour, self-harm or dangerous weight-control practices;
• upload malware or attempt to compromise NutriFlux;
• interfere with safety, rate-limit, moderation or cost-control systems;
• use automated systems to spam or overload the service; or
• use NutriFlux in a way that violates applicable law.

9. Reports, blocks and moderation

You can report objectionable posts and users, and block abusive users — blocking removes their content and interactions from your experience. We may review reports, remove content, limit features, restrict posting, suspend accounts or permanently terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users or enforce these Terms. To appeal a moderation decision, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL].

10. Purchases and subscriptions

NutriFlux does not currently offer paid subscriptions. If that changes, purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play will also be subject to that store's billing terms; price, billing period and auto-renewal terms will be shown before purchase; cancellation is managed through your store account; and deleting your NutriFlux account does not by itself cancel a store subscription. 11. Intellectual property

NutriFlux, Kiro, NutriFlux branding, software, interfaces and related intellectual property belong to [NUTRIFLUX LEGAL OPERATOR NAME] or its licensors, except for User Content and third-party materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership of NutriFlux intellectual property to you.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled and forms part of these Terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse, abuse or material violation of these Terms. You may stop using NutriFlux at any time and request account deletion through the in-app flow or the external deletion page.

14. Service availability

NutriFlux may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, provider failures or security incidents. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

15. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NutriFlux is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that every nutrition estimate, AI response, food-recognition result or recommendation will be accurate or suitable for every person. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, [NUTRIFLUX LEGAL OPERATOR NAME] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of NutriFlux. Any limitation here is subject to mandatory consumer-protection, privacy and other applicable laws and does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. Where a change is material, we will ask you to re-accept before you can post again.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
